أعلنت اليونسكو عن انضمام الجمعية السعودية للمحافظة على التراث إلى لجنة تقييم التراث الثقافي غير المادي لعام 2025 كأول جمعية عضو سعودية في اللجنة لمدة 4 سنوات. 

هذه العضوية تأتي تتويجًا لخبرات الجمعية في صون التراث ونقله للأجيال، حيث ستمثل المجموعة العربية ضمن لجنة تضم 6 خبراء و6 جمعيات لتقييم ملفات التراث الثقافي غير المادي المرشحة لقائمة التراث الإنساني.

UNESCO announced that the Saudi Heritage Preservation Society has joined the  Evaluation Body of 2003 convention for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage  for the cycle of 2025 as the first Saudi NGO to be a member of the committee for a period of 4 years
‏This membership comes from  SHPS’s expertise in safeguarding heritage and transmitting it to generations, as it will be representing the Arab electoral group within the committee of 6 experts and 6 NGO to evaluate the files of intangible cultural heritage candidates for the Human Heritage List
